VIDEO! I'm pretty excited to have finally started working with video! My first attempt was a simple time-lapse (below) of the pastel portrait process. As time goes on I will be adding additional time-lapse videos, painting tips and tricks, short demos and eventually plan to have a video course. You are invited to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you can be the first to see new videos as they are added. You can subscribe HERE. I'd love to hear what you think!

Lisa! You are AMAZING! I've been reading your blog about pastels for a while now, and I just had to tell you thank you for your generosity in sharing your art. I'm so excited about your time-lapse video because it was awesome! You're an amazing artist and I hope that one day I will be able to take one of your workshops...

I am just blown away! I've always shied away from painting in pastels as I didn't like the 'chalky' look. But the smoothness you have achieved is just remarkable. Thank you for sharing. Any plans to make a full-length DVD of a painting?

Hi Diane! First, thank you SO much! I do like making pastels behave in ways that are uncommon for the medium. Yes! I have plans for full videos within the next year. I will probably make them available through my website...maybe on DVD. Thanks again!

Thanks, Nelia! I am happy to share. I have a step-by-step process that DOES make it pretty effortless, believe it or not. It takes time of course, but progressing through steps keeps me from getting lost in the painting.
