| ~May 12, 2007~ "Objects of Affection" Solo Gallery Show, St. Charles, Missouri Framations Art Gallery hosts "Objects of Affection”, an exhibition of still lifes and portraits by artist Lisa Ober. The pieces in this exhibit will be a selection of oil and pastel portraits reminiscent of classical realism as well as a collection of recent still lifes. The range of still lifes explore a certain dry wit where very formal painting is labeled with a more witty, casual title, intended to make the viewer look twice. This exhibit will also feature an audio tour that will explore the work of Lisa Ober. |
